Ultimate, car cette mouture est accompagnée de tous les contenus additionnels mis au point par les développeurs du jeu tout au long de sa carrière sur console. Les amateurs PC de courses très « arcade » seront ravis de constater que Criterion s'intéresse enfin à leur machine et l'ajout de ces « bonus » n'est évidemment pas une mauvaise chose... Burnout Paradise ne déroge pas à la règle et arrive seulement aujourd’hui dans les rayons. Heureusement, le joueur PC voit sa patience souvent récompensée par des ajouts de contenus et autres optimisations toujours bonnes à prendre. ■ 10/02/09 - Burnout Paradise the Ultimate Box Salué par certains, dénigré par d’autres, Burnout Paradise n’avait clairement pas fait l’unanimité, même auprès des fans de la série. Après un an de contenu téléchargeable et d’ajouts en tout genre, le jeu s’offre le luxe d’une nouvelle sortie dans une édition plus complète et forcément indispensable ; du moins, pour ceux qui n’ont pas encore craqué pour l’original.

While NFS is still going strong, the franchise has struggled with its identity a bit in recent years and has been eclipsed on the consoles by EA’s Burnout – a much more visceral and compelling racing game. ■ 09/02/09 - Burnout Paradise the Ultimate Box About a year ago, Criterion Studios launched Burnout Paradise for the Xbox 360, a stellar addition to the popular Burnout franchise. The game took the series in a great new sandbox direction, offering a large city to explore and new missions to take on however the player wanted to. Additionally, the game featured some pretty nice multiplayer features, allowing players to drop into the same environment and either take on driving missions or simply mess around within the game’s environment. However, the game was lacking in one area: it didn’t allow for more than one player on the same console.
